It’s the first question people ask you when you have a dog: “What breed is it?” While some people own purebreds that make answering simple most people get their dogs from shelters and are given an incomplete genetic resume for their new pet at best, so the usual response is “Oh he’s a mutt” with some educated guesses based on size, coloring, and ear shape. (When in doubt just say “lab mix.”)
But sometimes people are way off in their guesses as to what sort of dog their puppy will grow into and the results can be as hilarious as they are surprising when that teacup Chihuahua turns out to be a lumbering Great Dane
The people over at the Facebook group @PupperDoggo have rounded up a number of such surprise packages for your guffawing pleasure. And while many owners were surprised by what breed or mix their dog turned out to be, nobody seems to mind very much.
