Every new game console comes with a frenzy of buyers trying to get their hands on the devices. Usually, there are oversold pre-orders and scammers taking advantage of people who just want to play the new game. The new Playstation release led to hoards of PS5 scammers selling fake consoles online and stealing people’s money. Pretty messed up.
In a Twitter thread, a woman told the story of her scamming scammers right back and giving them exactly what they deserved. After having her money stolen by someone online, she got right to work scaring them into giving her money back. I fully support her.
