Chrissy Teigen Is Back On Twitter After Deactivating Her Account 24 Days Ago

Chrissy Teigen is back on Twitter. On March 24th, the model, media personality, and cookbook author announced she was leaving the platform to escape the negativity.

Teigen has received a lot of backlash following various tweets perceived by some as classist or tone-deaf, and she also seems to attract the worst of the worst of trolls. After very openly sharing her grief following a miscarriage, Teigen received even more criticism from her detractors.

But as many haters as Chrissy Teigen has, she seems to have five times as many fans. They are thrilled to welcome Teigen back to Twitter just over three weeks after she left.

“Turns out it feels TERRIBLE to silence yourself and also no longer enjoy belly chuckles randomly throughout the day and also lose like 2000 friends at once lol,” she wrote in her comeback tweet.

“I choose to take the bad with the good!!” she added.

Teigen admitted that the inability to tweet was getting to her, to the benefit of her hair care:

She’s also already back in the replies battling people she deems unkind:

It seemed like a good thing that Teigen escaped a place that made her absolutely miserable so much of the time, but as she says, there are a whole lot of people loving and supporting her on Twitter, too, and they’re all her friends.

At least now she knows she can take a break whenever she wants.
