We’ve all been in quarantine for a while and it’s hard to stay away from our closest friends. We should, and if we do see them it should be outdoors, at a distance and in masks. Like so many of the rules that guide and protect society, Elon Musk and Kanye West are not complying with those requirements. Kanye shared a picture of them together at what looks like Musk’s house, just hanging.

The picture received a huge response, as people wondered how these two narcissistic millionaires could have possibly come together in this wild ride of a year. But they’ve actually known one another for a very long time, it seems:

People immediately started memeing the picture, which has a lot of mockable elements to it. Mostly that they look like big dorks and it seems like Grimes was forced to take the photo, based on a reflection in the window behind them.
It would be saltier is Kanye was embarrassed, but he seems to have gotten into the spirit of things:
