I remember when you used to have to wait until the next day to tell your friends how a date went.
Or at least wait until you were home to give them a call.
Those days are long gone, apparently.
This British fella was in a group text with all of his soccer pals (they call it football over there, just in case you know nothing about anything) and they demanded real time updates beforehand.
So, he agreed to send texts and videos.
Even as it became clear that the incredibly awkward date wasn’t going well and it was only going to get worse from there.
Here’s how it all went down:
I like to imagine the only reason she was even on her phone the entire time because she was doing the same exact thing to him. They pretty much set themselves up for disaster.
