As we near the end of November we can reflect on one bizarre, terrible, helluva year with pandemic-enforced changes, large and small, affecting holidays, gatherings, and nearly every facet of our daily lives. But we go on. We find ways to grieve, to cope, and to laugh.
While we’ve been kept physically distant from our friends and loved ones to an unprecedented degree, as a species our long-distance communication game is second to none. (Suck it, fish.) From Zoom parties, to virtual dates, to whatever the hell TikTok is, we are a social animal and we found ways to communicate despite the restrictions. Good old-fashioned texting remains the staple for most people these days so we dug up some of the best texts sent this month from one stressed-out hot mess to another.
