Here’s The Greatest Thing To Have In Your Pocket If You’re Arrested

I’ve never been arrested. I hope to god I never am. I wouldn’t last very long. I’m far too delicate to be handcuffed and tossed behind bars for an extended period of time. Plus, I’m in the middle of binge-watching “Peaky Blinders” and really don’t feel like putting that on hold.

One thing I know for sure is that I certainly wouldn’t have planned something humorous in advance, like the person who got arrested in the following scenario did. While being arrested for protesting an oil pipeline being built across Iowa, the trooper asked what they had in their pockets and then didn’t believe the answer until the trooper saw it.

The evidence bag and the item are both below. Have a look and then let’s discuss further.

Pretty clever, right? You’re probably asking if this smooth move actually worked. Well, according to the person arrested: “It didn’t work. Bond was $300.”

Womp. Womp. Do not pass go. Do no collect $200 dollars. Do not attempt to play a game of Monopoly in real life situations.
