Of all the holidays, Christmas probably has the best reputation. It certainly has the most memorable music and movies and there’s the whole religious and family aspect as well as the getting-boxes-full-of-loot aspect. When Christmas is done right, a good time is had by all.
However like anything that has become hopelessly entangled with consumerism sometimes the products and advertisements for the Christmas holiday go off the rails. A design failure or a simple oversight can turn a decoration or display that was meant to be innocent and uplifting into something filthy or wildly off base, ranging from the unsightly to the downright inappropriate.
