Homeowners associations were, theoretically created to ensure the safety and well-being of all of the residents in the community.
However, as is often the case, they’re used as a tool for shitty neighbors to take out their petty squabbles on one another.
That’s exactly the scenario that u/nickeisele found himself in when a busybody “HOA Karen” got his car towed without warning, but, plot twist, this woman, who called herself “Diane” wasn’t even on the HOA board, though she’d claimed to be in order to get the car towed.
