Being a good father is a tough job, but Muhammed Nitoto is making it look easy.
Nitoto has two daughters, 5-year-old Zendaya and 3-year-old Zuri, and he couldn’t be more proud of the adorable duo.
As a man raising two little girls, Nitoto is constantly learning new things as he navigates the highs and lows of fatherhood.
Nitoto regularly chronicles his journey on social media, and has gone viral multiple times. Most recently, the father of two went viral after he shared a “dad obstacle” he has had to work around—taking his daughters to the bathroom in public.
“As a dad being out with daughters I never thought the bathroom would become as big as a issue as it is,” he wrote in his caption.
He went on to explain that he chooses to use the women’s restroom in public whenever family restrooms aren’t an option. He said men’s restrooms aren’t suitable for his girls because they lack privacy, smell like urine, and are just not set up for fathers.
On Instagram he explained:
“They are too young to go on their own, so I have to go in with them. I try to be as respectful to women as I can while doing so, which consists of knocking on the door before entering and announcing myself. If someone is inside, I make sure they know I am a dad coming in with his daughter and make sure they are comfortable with that. Once inside our stall, I still am aware of the door, and whenever I hear it open and someone new is coming in, I announce myself again and make sure they know I’m inside with my child so that they aren’t surprised.”
He continues:
“Women’s bathrooms are so much cleaner and set up perfect if you have children. The changing station is usually inside a stall instead of just out in the open and it’s always clean. As a girl dad, I can’t help but want to protect my daughters from all things that aren’t for them and the men’s bathroom is 100% one of those things…”
He then asked women on Instagram how it made them feel.

The women on Nitoto’s Instagram were quick to flood his comment section with their thoughts and support.
Most women said it was totally fine for Nitoto to accompany his daughters, especially since he made his presence known.
And speaking of bathrooms, Nitoto also shared that since becoming a girl dad, he now sits when he pees.
As most parents already know, there is no privacy when raising little kids. Nitoto said he decided to switch things up in an effort to prevent his daughters from seeing things they shouldn’t.
This is another thing that has Nitoto’s followers offering praise and support across his social media accounts.
All of the positive responses have made Muhammed feel better about his choice to use the women’s restroom with his daughters. “It seems women understand because, usually, moms are the ones out alone with the kids having to figure it out,” he said.
