It felt like 2020 would last forever. So many horrible, world-altering events happened in the space of a single calendar year that it seemed like time had lost all meaning and that we were perhaps trapped in some Groundhog Day-like limbo, doomed to strap on our dirty masks and read the same three Trump tweets every day until the universe collapses back in on itself.
But we made it! It may not feel like it but 2021 is officially here and nothing bad can ever happen again.
Now it’s time to celebrate…virtually or in sparse, socially distanced groups without physical contact.
