We’re currently living in the Golden Age of Television and Film, and at the moment, it’s mostly thanks to South Korea. If you’ve never seen movies like The Host or Old Boy or Save The Green Planet, what are you waiting for?
Korean TV is also in the midst of its heyday, and Squid Game might be what gets everyone on board. I finished the series already, and I’ll try not to post many spoilers in this post, but these memes are hilarious to anyone who’s seen the show!
The show follows a number of down-and-out people who are given the chance to enter a game to win enough money to change their lives for the better. The twist? Every other player might die before the game is over.
It’s somewhere between Lost and a Saw movie. I highly recommend it.
