Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a mountain of a man. It’s more or less in his name.
He’s also become a huge movie star over the past decade after already being a huge wrestling star and just generally a huge human being. The fact that The Rock has appeared in so many different forms in his career, from the WWE, to action and adventure movies, to animated films like Disney’s Moana makes him the perfect candidate for the meme treatment since he is everywhere and instantly recognizable.
Add to that ubiquity, his pun-friendly stage name, famous physique, and some wonderfully dorky photos of him from the 80s and you have the perfect formula for endless memes. (Just don’t call him “The Pebble.”)
