What can we say about 2020? This year started off so well. It was a beautifully round number and many of us were convinced this would be our year.
It would be a winter of renewal, a spring of strong personal growth, and a Summer of George.
Somehow that’s not exactly how it turned out. We never saw COVID-19 and the ensuing pandemic coming.
To document the collective ignorance of the millions of people who didn’t take the growing threat of the illness brewing in China seriously at the time people on Twitter have begun posting photos of themselves “blissfully unaware” in January and asking others to do the same.
We were so young.
