Ted Cruz Is Getting Trolled With Memes After Texas Begs People Not To Use AC

Texas is really going through it this year. Back in February the Texas power grid went down amid a devastating winter storm. ERCOT (the Electric Reliability Council of Texas Texans) had the audacity to ask Texans to chill on using water and people were left with no heat. Well, ERCOT is back at it again this week asking Texans to keep their air conditioners set to 78 when they’re home or 85 when out in the middle of a heatwave.

You may recall back in February that Texas Senator Ted Cruz decided to pack up and take his family on vacation to Cancun leaving Texans to deal with bursting pipes and freezing temperatures.

The internet destroyed Cruz for leaving his constituents in Texas behind to freeze on their own while he hit the beach. With this week’s heat and ERCOT advisory, the dragging of Ted Cruz is back.
