Artist Depicts The Perks Of Being Short (15 Pics)

Being too short comes with challenges (high shelves, outdoor concerts, limited basketball proficiency) but also has its advantages (stealth, cuteness, low center of gravity). Sadly, in a world that celebrates height those advantages – like short people themselves – are often overlooked. 

Artist Three Under The Rain is on a mission to rectify those misconceptions and sing the praises of the vertically challenged with a delightful series of illustrations titled “Perks Of Being Short” on Instagram.

In 15 illustrations she shows the many perks of being too short, ranging from navigating the world more easily to just plain being more cozy in most situations than the naturally lanky.

It turns out short people have a lot going for them, no matter what Randy Newman thinks.
