Dude Sues His Parents For Trashing His $29,000 Porn Collection And Naturally Pornhub Has Gotten Involved

A man from Michigan is suing his parents for $87,000 after they threw out his porn collection, which he valued at almost $29,000.

The 40-year-old man moved back into his parents’ Grand Haven, MI, house in Ocotober 2016 after a divorce, according to Fox.

He’s not being identified being the case doesn’t involve any criminal charges, just a civil suit. (Lucky for him, given the subject matter.)

He reportedly stayed at their place for 10 months, doing housework in exchange for room and board. In August of 2017, his parents asked him to leave after police were called to their house for a domestic disturbance. He moved to Indiana and in November 2017, his parents dropped off the boxes he had left at their house.

Missing from those belongings were 14 boxes—his porn collection, which included 12 boxes of VHS tapes and two boxes of sex toys. His parents admitted that they’d destroyed all of it, which included titles like Frisky Business and Big Bad Grannys, per the Associated Press.

The man initially contacted the Ottowa County Sheriff’s Office about the missing items and he filed a police report that claimed his collection was worth $28,940.72. The police, however, elected not to press charges.

But that didn’t keep the man from reportedly sending one police officer 44 emails about the missing movies, writing “Not Just Out of Print. But the entire studio making it dissolved, and that was 20 years ago.”

Now he’s suing his parents for $86,822.16.

The man began emailing with his dad about a month after he filed the police report. In one email he wrote, “Ifyou had a problem with my belongings, you should have stated that at the time and I would have gone elsewhere. Instead you choose to keep quiet and behave vindictively.”

His father wrote back, “Believe it or not, one reason for why I destroyed your porn was for your own mental and emotional heath [sic]. I would have done the same if I had found a kilo of crack cocaine. Someday, I hope you will understand.”

In another email the man’s father brought up that the man had been kicked out of high school and college for selling porn, and wrote, “I also warned you at that time if I ever found pornography in my house again, I would destroy it.”

And then, in an interesting turn of events, Pornhub stepped in and said that if the man drops the suit against his parents, they’ll give him a free lifetime subscription to their premium service. Pornhub told Insider, “We’re very serious about lending a helping hand and helping this family patch things up.”

Pornhub to the rescue!
