Jessy Taylor, an Instagram influencer who until very recently had 113,000 followers, shared an emotional video to YouTube after her account was suddenly deleted.
“Hi guys, I’m in the middle of editing and my Instagram got deleted,” Taylor says into the camera, tears streaming down her face. “I’m trying to get it back, I’m calling everybody I can and I don’t know why it’s not working out for me.”
The influencer warns fans to “think twice” before reporting her Instagram account, as it is how she makes her money. “I’m nothing without my following, I am nothing without my following,” she cries, before explaining that a regular 9-5 job is not how she wants to live her life.
“I want to say to everybody that’s reporting me – think twice because you’re ruining my life, because I make all of my money online, all of it and I don’t want to lose that,” says Taylor. “I know people like to see me be down and be like them and the ninety per centers – the people who work 9-5 – that is not me, I am in LA to not be like that.”
She continues: “I’ve worked so f—ing hard to get to where I’m at and for that to get taken from me is the worst feelingin the world.”
“I don’t think people understand that this is my f—ing life.”
The reasons behind Taylor’s account deletion are unclear. She explains later in the video that she doesn’t want to go back to doing sex work or working at McDonald’s, and that her student loans prevent her from going back to school.
“I was a f—ing prostitute…I don’t do that anymore because I make all my money online,” the influencer explains. “I don’t want to go back to that life.”
“What some of you guys have to realize is I have no skills, I’m twenty-f—ing-thousand dollars in debt from college so I can’t even go to college if I wanted to. I used to work at f—ing McDonalds before I did YouTube, Instagram, before I had 100,000 followers, before I had everything in my life I was a f—ing loser.”
“I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with working at McDonald’s because I worked there but I don’t want to go back to that life. I have no job qualifications, I could never work a normal job,” Taylor says.
“I’m worthless. I bring nothing to the table, zero, when it comes to that…I always get in fights with people, I always get kicked out of places, I am not work material,” Taylor cries, “I will never be work material.”
Jessy Taylor’s YouTube plea has been watched over 217,000 times since she uploaded it last Thursday. She has set up a new Instagram account, @duhitsjessy, which has 4,287 followers at the time of writing.
