The phrase “the customer is always right” needs to be banned and replaced with “the customer is literally never right.”
Someone on Reddit shared their super annoying interaction with a customer who ordered garlic bread without garlic. A sane person making this request would definitely have realized how stupid it sounds the second it slipped out of their mouth. Unfortunately, it’s pretty clear this isn”t a sane person: it’s a person deprived of garlic-free garlic bread.
I’m not the best version of myself when I’m hungry, but at least I don’t make server’s lives hell. Her husband didn’t do anything to diffuse the situation or even try to better explain what she wanted to order. Of course, Reddit users had some strong opinions about who was in the wrong.
