Woman Asks If She Is Wrong For Saying Mother-In-Law Can’t Be In The Delivery Room

Giving birth is beautiful and sacred and all that crap… but it’s also really gross. There is blood and ripping and a lot of eyes where the sun doesn’t shine. If you don’t absolutely need to be there, I would recommend you don’t try and see it.

Someone on Reddit is facing the issue of a difficult mother-in-law insisting on being in the delivery room when she is giving birth. She’s not close with the mother-in-law at all and thinks she just wants to force her way into a special moment with her husband.

As with many things mother-in-law related, this erupted into a huge fight with the husband and ended up on Reddit’s Am I The Asshole board for everyone who wasn’t there to give their two cents on who is in the wrong.

Luckily, they helped this mom-to-be figure out the right thing to do.
