30 Non-Americans Share Their “Genuine Reaction” To Whats Happening Here Right Now

If you’re an American, your vision of your country is probably dictated by where you live, how you were raised, your religious beliefs, your friends—basically all the stuff that surrounds you at all times. People in other countries aren’t surrounded by any of that crap. They’re looking at us from the outside and what they see isn’t pretty.

Redditor u/IceCreamTacosPizza posted on r/AskReddit, wondering, “Non-Americans of Reddit, what is your genuine reaction to what’s going on in America right now?”

Well, the answers are all fairly similar: we look like we’ve lost our damn minds. But different people have different reasons for thinking so. Some even wish they could trade places, others says we tend to see the U.S.A.’s issues as unique, when they’re really not. Almost everyone agrees we should have universal healthcare. If only we could agree on stuff in America the way people in other countries agree on how much we suck.
