Telemarketing— It’s already mostly illegal now (especially if you add your number to the national do not call list) but that has done nothing to stop it or slow it. I feel pretty confident that even in a world where it was completely illegal, I’d still be getting unsolicited calls with offers to lower the interest rate on the auto loan I don’t even have.—u/ByWillAlone
