TikToker Jade Hik has been sharing a gripping succession of videos about how she discovered her boyfriend was cheating on her, and she and her dad set up a surprise sting operation to catch him red-handed.
The Daily Mirror reports she started with a video about a “loyalty test” she set up with another friend to see if he would chat her up. He did for two weeks before booking a hotel room so he and “Hayley” could meet and consummate their texting relationship.
That’s called a loyalty test fail. Hik got into her story more, saying their relationship was about a year and a half old, and the last few months had been horrendous.
He was sleeping on her couch and she was paying for his phone—which is why she noticed he was texting so many people besides her, one number in particular quite a lot. She Googled it and it connects to a Twitter account belonging to his ex-girlfriend. The internet is written in ink, people!
The confrontation video is up, but TikTok disabled the sound. You can still see Hik’s dad, Dave, knock on the door to confront her cheating boyfriend:
And then the boyfriend slumped in in the hotel room door trying to look chill with what’s happening:
She did post the video on YouTube, wherein Hiks say, “Sup, motherf–ker,” when the door opens.
Hik says she and her father, Dave, confronted her then-boyfriend, and she “broke up with him on the spot.”
Her father says, “I’m Hayley.”
“I’m Jade. Also your ex-girlfriend,” says Hik.
I’ve got a few things to say to you right now,” says Dave. “You do not go back to that house ever, you understand?”
He then tells the cheater he’ll be “jerking off” tonight because there is no Hayley.
“You f—ked up, d—ckhead,” Dave concludes.
People are really impressed by Dave’s support, and many have adopted him as their own TikTok Dad. Hik revealed his unobscured face for everybody.
“I just want to say thanks to everybody for all the kind words,” he introduced himself. “And I just want to let you know that, as a father, I would do anything to protect my kids.”
Then he flashes a foam fist, which is very “dad” of him. They love prop comedy.
Hik then gave him a hug from everyone:
“Life hasn’t changed a whole lot,” Hik told The Daily Dot in an Instagram message. “I’ve had tons of support from all around the world which is absolutely crazy to me. I’ve also had a fair amount of backlash and hate which I expected would happen.”
Hit dogs will holler. Dave showing up at the hotel door is probably a lot of those angry commenters’ worst nightmare, because you know they’re trying to cheat.
