In case anyone is looking to reboot classic problematic ’90s movie Never Been Kissed, here’s your chance.
This updated version — starring 24-year-old M’Lynn Martin — cuts out the creepy teacher/student romance and gets straight to business.
It begins with Martin, who has never been kissed, creating virtual applications for her potential suitors.
She included many important questions, including why they want to be her first kiss, what would happen after the kiss and the kind of kissing experience they are looking for.
She introduced the application process via TikTok, where she explained how when she experiences kissing in her dreams, the lips never touch because she doesn’t know what the sensation is like.

Martin put a link to the application in her bio and the applicants started rolling in. A couple days later, she shared some of the ones she received.

The kisser in question submitted his application the very last day. Whew, love is cutting it close! In the video, Martin says her first kiss is set for Jan. 16, 2021.
After she accepted the application, she gave TikTok a rundown on what happened next.

“Last month I created an application where people could apply to be my first kiss because I was 24 and I had never had my first kiss before,” she said. “I decided to post it to the internet and my friends, family and TikTok went nuts.”
“People started applying from all over the place. I picked a stranger named Ian because he by far had the best application. And he is also the younger brother of one of my college professors which is just so funny that I had to choose him.”
The two responsibly got tested for COVID-19 and executed Martin’s first-ever kiss! Girl is no longer a lip virgin!
It gets cuter. As part of his application, Ian uploaded a video of himself playing “Like Real People Do” by Hozier. Yeah, he’s a good one.
