Kristen (@kristen_nicoles) went viral on TikTok after claiming a bouncer snapped her ID in half without explanation.
In a follow-up video, Kristen detailed what had happened the night of the incident. She and her friends had previously gone there and had their wrists stamped by a bouncer before leaving to visit other bars. Later, they returned to Mother’s Tavern.
Upon their return, the same bouncer was at the door. He asked to see the stamp on Kristen’s wrist, as well as her ID. He gave both a “funny” look before telling her he needed to keep her ID while she used the restroom.
Confused, Kristen handed over her ID, then proceeded to the restroom. When she came back, the bouncer had disappeared and was replaced by another one. To her shock, her ID had been snapped in half.
Kristen was understandably outraged and took to TikTok to share her story highlighting a concerning disregard for proper protocol among bar bouncers.
Kristen’s story of being asked to leave a bar for having a vertical ID was shocking and unexpected. Despite not having done anything wrong, she was treated unfairly and her ID was destroyed.
The situation escalated after the bouncer refused to believe that Kristen’s ID was real. He even went as far as to consider calling the police on her even though she had done nothing wrong.

After that, she had two options, either file a report against the bouncer or have the owner talk to her. It is unclear what happened after that, but Kristen promised to continue the story in a third follow-up video.
