Imagine your partner dies. Terrible, right? One of the most traumatic things you can go through.
Then imagine you have to break that news to the person he’s been cheating on you with.
That’s what happened to Bridgette Davis (@bridgettedavis08) who recounted the surreal experience on TikTok (scroll to the end for the full video).
Then she included this text exchange with the woman, who had a request.
The side piece wrote: “F**k. I can’t believe this. I can’t, I’m losing it. I can’t do this again. He promised me.” …Can I go to where he was buried?”
Kind of a ballsy request, right? But should Davis have turned her down? That was the topic of much debate in the comments.
Others shared their own experiences of infidelity.
If you’re wondering, Psychology Today reports that 16 percent of adults—about 20 percent of men and 13 percent of women—say they’ve had sex with someone else while married.
Interestingly, among people under 30 who have ever been married, 11 percent of women report having committed infidelity, as opposed to 10 percent of men.
