I heard my mom having sex 3 times. I know this because those times are seared into my brain. It was awful and I’m upset again just thinking about it.
No one wants to think of their parents as sexual beings, but at a certain level we all know and accept it. However, HEARING it is a whole other thing. Especially some loud, very vocal sex.
Debate around this point has been swirling since Twitter user @sisterlelianas tweeted out a controversial Tiktok. She tweeted,
“Am I the only one who doesn’t find this funny in the slightest…? If you have a child in the house why would you SCREAM during intercourse with your partner? Children don’t know what you’re doing, and even if they did it’s incredibly disrespectful and traumatizing for them?”
The video starts of with the husband standing at the foot of the bed telling his wife their daughter is upset and crying because she heard her mom screaming.
So he tells her, while she’s laughing, to go check on her.
So she goes into her daughters dark room and tries to console her.
And doesn’t do a great job tbh.

She goes on to explain:
The comments were kind of mixed on this one. While folks agree you maybe should scream while your daughter is down the hall, you also need to still have a healthy sex life with your partner.
