A TikToker recently spoke out against their employer, Dunkin’ Donuts after they kept getting scheduled shifts ever after quitting. The creator Abby (@abbyjulyanna.1), explained how she had already put in her two weeks notice yet was still being scheduled after her official resignation date- including Christmas Eve.
In a text overlay of her video she wrote, “when you put ur two weeks in and your last day is the 20th but the manager schedules you past the 20th, even on Christmas Eve from 2-10.”
Abby provided more context to her situation in the video’s caption. “Told my manager i will not be showing up! that is on him for not understanding after telling him no i am putting my two weeks in many times,” she wrote. She also claimed that management at her store was “horrible” and that her location “can be toxic.”
From an outside perspective, it makes no sense that Abby was still being scheduled after her official termination date. Furthermore, the action was borderline disrespectful, as if her quitting and moving forward with her life was invalid. She concluded her caption by saying ‘will only miss some of my coworkers.”
