In a viral video, a woman confronted an Olive Garden manager about her bad experience while dining in. She spent a minute or so complaining about very presumptuous and minuscule things and then asked for compensation for her whopping $10 meal.
Needless to say, the poor manager was not having it, and gave the camerawoman the 1000-yard stare throughout the entire video. Watch it below to see how she reacted in the end!
She posted the video to TikTok, testing how the manager would react and if whether she would adhere to all of her request or cause a scene.
The manager walked up to the woman, who was recording from start to finish, and asked, “Is there something wrong?” To which OP took no time at all to tell her everything that was wrong. She started,
“Yes I have a bill of $10 and I have been steadily dealing with like your waitresses and ill treatment, they have been like making me wait long wait times and ignoring me. I’ve been asking for water, they walkin’ right past me actin’ like I did not say anything-” The manager, clearly over the situation already, finally got a word in.
“Ok.” She mumbles. But OP wasn’t done. She continues, her passion for gnocchi really coming to the surface.
“My soup has been coming without gnocchi in it, when it’s chicken and gnocchi, and like, as you saw, it came without gnocci twice, maybe three times. Sometimes it came with only two or three gnocchi in it-“
“Ok.” The manager muttered again, probably wishing she could laugh in disbelief at this moment.
“I am not pleased with my service, can I have compensation?” OP finishes. Without hesitation, the manager says,
“Yeah, absolutely. Don’t even worry about it.” Thanking her maker that this scenario is over with. She takes the recorder’s receipt, maneuvering her way around the $50 bill OP was, for some reason, flaunting in her hand, and leaves the scene to go get her a refund.
