‘People Are So Entitled’ — Customers Rip Open Boxes Of Christmas Sweatshirts Inside Sam’s Club

People lose their minds over a sale — especially this time of year. The possibility of saving a few bucks is all it takes for some people to descend into complete lawlessness.

And that crappy behavior was on full display recently after TikToker Jos (@josephinehatch6) shared a video of Sam’s Club customers ripping open boxes of Christmas crewneck sweaters (scroll to the end for the full video).

At first, the ladies are just checking out the merchandise that’s on display. Which is fine.

But then they spot some unopened boxes underneath the display table and one of them uses her keys to cut it open. And everyone helps themselves.

Jos captioned the video “so cute you might have to go digging for the size you need.”

But, unless they work there, all those ladies feel a little out of pocket. Let the employees open the boxes!

The video went viral and commenters weren’t pleased.

Others pointed out that, by taking it upon themselves to open boxes, the women were making the workers’ lives much harder.

Sadly, this type of behavior is going to increase as we head into the Black Friday shopping holiday later this week.

Drawn by the lure of big bargains, shoppers can quickly become angry mobs.

And sometimes things can get REALLY out of hand.

Between 2006 and 2018, according to the Hustle, 44 Black Friday incidents in America left 11 dead and 109 injured.

One man suffered a shattered hip after he was shoved into a shelf of discounted presents.

There’s even a website that documents tragedies on the holiday, called Black Friday Death Count.

So please be careful out there. And PLEASE be considerate of the retail workers who have to clean up your messes.
