Everyone has been in long lines at the store. It’s excruciating and it feels like you’re going to be there forever.
That was the situation at one Dollar Tree, according to a TikTok by @mixedbeautty. The store had a line of people that seemed to stretch to infinity (scroll to the end to watch the full video).
One annoyed customer demanded that more employees get on a register.
But the manager was having none of it. “I’ll hire you on the spot,” he told the customer. “I need the help.”
The annoyed man was not interested in this opportunity, however, telling the manager, “Get behind the register.”
To which the manager replied, “I don’t have enough people!”
We can see both people’s sides here. On one hand, being in a long line blows. On the other, if you’ve ever worked retail, you know what it’s like to be short-handed.
Some commenters sided with the manager.
Others sympathized with the customer.
