TikToker Goes Viral For Brutal Review Of Kim Kardashian’s Shapewear Line

Kim Kardashian may be able to convince a ton of people to buy whatever it is she has to sell, but name recognition doesn’t always equate to customer satisfaction.

In fact, TikTok user Adria Barich has some serious complaints about Kim’s shapewear line, and decided to post a quick product review to the video platform to talk about what, exactly, the issue is.

Kim’s line, SKIMS, has been marketed as having “solutions for every body,” with the ultimate goal of enhancing the wearer’s natural curves without making it obvious they’re wearing shapewear underneath their clothes.

But Adria wasn’t too pleased with her results.

“This video is for Kim Kardashian, and Kim Kardashian only,” she says at the start of her TikTok, before backing up to show herself wearing a piece from the line in question. “What is this?”

“I thought SKIMS were supposed to make me look curvalicious?” she asked. “Not Winnie the Pooh wearing too-small underwear. I look like the Pillsbury Doughboy.”

It’s not difficult to understand Adria’s annoyance with the product — it’s obviously not doing quite exactly what it was marketed to do.

But the TikToker took it all in stride, sharing the ridiculousness of the whole thing with the world.

She even added a follow-up video trying to dance in the shapewear. Spoiler: it didn’t go so great.

The original video went viral, drawing nearly 10 million views and an array of comments that seemed to agree with Adria’s assessment of the line.

“The shape is apparently supposed to be a busted can of biscuits,” one user joked.

“It says it’s shapewear…it gave you a shape, it just wasn’t specific,” another pointed out.

Others had a few complaints of their own, with one TikTok user saying she “wasted $500 on SKIMS last year & it all fell apart within a month.”

Another suggested that the sizing was simply off. Whatever the case, at least Adria got a viral video out of it because it seems unlikely she’ll be wanting to wear that questionable garment anywhere when the world finally opens up again.
