Wendy’s Customer Outraged After Being Forced To Make Her Burger With A Bun From Home

A Wendy’s customer recently went viral via TikTok after posting her rant towards the franchise for severely messing up her DoorDash order.

The woman/victim to this heinous act was TikToker (kodakaiju) who posted a video showing her deconstructed and bun-less burger. She ended up using a bun she had at home to remake her sandwich, but not without simultaneously roasting whoever works at her local Wendy’s throughout the process.

“‘ ok, no buns… that’s hip’- spongebob SO2EO4 time 4:50.” – kodakaiju

Extremely upset, Koda began ranting about her mangled order while she created her own makeshift burger from the ingredients she had to work with

“I don’t know who the fuck was scheduled to work today at the Wendy’s, but count your fucking days. I ordered a whole-ass sandwich; you gave me a fucking meat only,” she says as she takes the patties out of a container and proceeds to assemble what was supposed to be a Dave’s Double cheeseburger.

Viewers speculated a number of reasons for why this might have happened. Some said that the order could have simply got mixed up with someone elses (dog).

Others claimed that DoorDash orders don’t receive the same amount of care as in-store orders do, and that the workers in Wendy’s probably just threw some food in a bag and called it a day.

Some also speculated that the reasoning behind the strangeness was with good intentions, just not executed properly. Apparently, food establishments will package items like burgers in separate compartments, to keep the bun from getting soggy with sauce and veggie juice. A few people commented that they thought this was probably the case, but the rest of the burger never made it out of the Wendy’s kitchen.

Viewers who saw Koda’s clip expressed their own disappointment when it came to ordering through Wendy’s and DoorDash. Below is the original TikTok:

Koda claimed that despite the whole mess and her complaints, DoorDash only refunded her $2 for a $21 order.

Commenters shared their own personal experiences, as well as their critiques on Wendy’s recent service.
