Bebe Rexha Posts Instagram In Her Birthday Suit To Celebrate Turning 30

Bebe Rexha turned 3o—and she is celebrating with a nude photo and some body positivity

The “Me, Myself & I” singer shared a shot of herself x before a show at Madison Square Garden. In the photo, which has received over 1 million likes on Instagram, Rexha is doing a split and applying lipstick.

“This is what 30 looks like. My #BirthdaySuit Self love. Body positivity. Unapologetically me. Pre-show stretch and lipstick application #Not20Anymore,” Rexha wrote in the caption.

Rexha has used her platform to advocate for body positivity and self-love in the past. In a video that went viral back in January, she spoke out against designers who she claims refused to dress her for the Grammys because she was “too big” at a size 8.

“You’re saying all the women in the world that are a size eight and up are not beautiful and that they cannot wear your dresses,” she said. “So, to all the people who said I’m thick and I can’t wear your dress, fuck you. I don’t want to wear your fucking dresses.”

Rexha got tons of birthday love and support from fans and fellow musicians.

“I think it’s safe to say you just broke the internet. I turn 30 in January. Thanks for making 30 look flawless,” said one user.

Emphasizing her stance against ageism in the industry, Rexha’s  new single “Not 20 Anymore” includes lyrics like “Don’t try to make me feel insecure/’Cause I’m aging like wine/I get better with time.”

Before her birthday, she shared an image on Instagram and explained she was fed up with double standards.

“I recently had a MALE music executive tell me that I was getting too old and that my brand was ‘confusing.’ Because…I’m a songwriter and I post sexy pics on my Instagram and that’s not what female songwriters are suppose to do, especially for my age. I’m 29,” she wrote.

“I’m tired of women getting labeled as ‘hags’ when they get old and guys get labeled as sexy with age.”
