We learned earlier this week that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are currently expecting their fourth child. They share three kids together, James, 7, Inez, 5, and Betty, 3.
Lively gave a surprise bump reveal at the Forbes Power Women’s Summit. At the summit, she spoke about her company, Betty Buzz, which makes non-alcoholic drink mixers.
She later confirmed that she and Reynolds are indeed expecting.
Since the reveal, Lively has been absolutely hounded by paparazzi trying to get shots of her. So on Saturday, she went ahead and just one-upped them with photos.
“Here are photos of me pregnant in real life so the 11 guys waiting outside my home for a 🦄 sighting will leave me alone,” Blake wrote on Instagram.
“You freak me and my kids out. Thanks to everyone else for all the love and respect and for continuing to unfollow accounts and publications who share photos of children.”
“You have all the power against them. And thank you to the media who have a “No Kids Policy”. You all make all the difference 🙏♥️. Much love! Xxb,” she wrote.
Lively has previously spoken about a “frightening” experience in which a man would not stop “stalking” her kids and taking photos.
She told media outlets to stop paying photographers to “hide and hunt children”. She also demanded background checks on those photographers. She asked, “Do you simply not care about the safety of children?”
Lively has been off screen since 2020, but she did make a directorial debut with Taylor Swift’s “I Bet You Think About Me” music video in 2021.
She told Forbes back in May that having kids made her value her time.
“Family is at the root of everything that I do and it’s also at the root of everything that I create,” she said. “I want to be in films, I want to make films, I want to author films that I would be proud for my children to see. Even the gowns I wear — I just want my kids to be proud.”
