The Avengers: Endgame premiere was Monday night in Los Angeles, and the stars all turned up in their finest—including Scarlett Johansson (who plays Black Widow) and Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), who both wore Thanos’ infinity stones.
The cast were interviewed on the red carpet, of course, and one of the best interactions was when Mark Ruffalo found out that his Marvel costar, Brie Larson, had also been in 13 Going On 30, a 2004 movie in which he starred along with Jennifer Garner.

Ruffalo was givingan interview to Entertainment Tonight and answering all the questions he’s probably been asked more than a thousand times before. The whole thing is actually a little awkward, in just how boring it is, but Ruffalo is a consummate professional and answers all the questions as enthusiastically as he can.
And at one point, the interviewer shows Ruffalo a still of Brie Larson in 13 Going On 30, and his reaction is both hilarious and adorable.

“She was a mean girl! Oh my God, that’s amazing,” Ruffalo said. “Wow, I didn’t know that!”
But don’t worry, he’s not rude, it’s not like he totally forgot her. He pointed out that they didn’t work together on the movie, because Larson was in the 80s flashback and Ruffalo was in the 2000s part.
Larson had told ET that she knew she wanted to stay in films and be a director after doing that movie, which Ruffalo referredto as “a lovely little movie.” (It was directed by Gary Winick, who died in 2011.)
So it ended up not being a terrible interview after all!
