A McDonald’s location in Fort Worth, Texas that is fully automated has garnered mixed reactions from viewers after a food blog shared it on TikTok. The location is being used as a test site.
The video shows a new McDonald’s location that utilizes automated food ordering and a cashless payment system with employees working in the kitchen cooking the orders, was shared on TikTok by user @foodiemunster.
The new location features self-ordering kiosks
It appears there are no cash registers and the staff works in the kitchen.
Even the drive-thru is completely automated.
According to The Street, the location is approximately half the size of a typical McDonald’s and does not have any indoor seating.
While some viewers are excited about the concept, others have expressed frustration with the service they have received from employees at the counter.
Some viewers, on the other hand, prefer the traditional McDonald’s experience and enjoy interacting with the employees at the counter when placing their orders.
