Viral “Lion King” TikTok Has People Debating Whether Scar Ate Mufasa
The Lion King (1994) has had its share of controversies, including one theory that it was actually plagiarized from an earlier cartoon.

Now, a TikToker has drawn attention to the Disney classic again for another less than super reason: the possibility of lion-on-lion cannibalism.

Christian Jones, 17, from Atlanta, went viral on social media after making a video showing evidence he gathered to support that Scar ate Mufasa after he fell to his death from a cliff and trampled by a stampede.

He shared his Google search showing that lions are most likely to be eaten by another lion as an act of dominance.
Posting a scene showing Scar playing with a skull, Jones questioned if the skull was Mufasa’s and Scar had eaten him.

To be fair, Google searches do not a truth prove, but the video gave us a chance to revisit our childhood traumas.
@christianchasej Me and @notalexislol just figured this out #fyp #foryou #lionking #simba #mufasa
In response to Jones’ theory, Twitter users chimed in on why or why not they thought he was right.
