Hilarious Tumblr Thread Explains Inaccuracies Men Make When Writing Women

Not all male authors are bad, but sometimes you read something written by a man and can’t help but think, “Has this male author ever actually spoken to a woman?” Male authors will use mostly sexual adjectives to describe women and sometimes it can get a little weird.

Women will be described by their body shape, hair color, then immediately to what the shape of their breasts are like, or how shy they are.

In a Tumblr thread, users shared all the most annoying things that male authors do when writing about women that totally aren’t how girls work.

Look, we should either stop over-sexualizing female characters or we need to start over-sexualizing male characters. Maybe it’s time men take off their glasses and shake out their hair when a pretty girl walks in the room!
