Pop-star and public icon, Cher recently went viral over speculation towards her and her new boyfriends age gap. Music executive, Alexander Edwards is 36 years old, whereas “Believe” singer Cher is 76.

The controversy began after Cher confirmed on Twitter over the weekend that the pair are officially together after they were spotted in West Hollywood.
As confirmation about her relationship, she tweeted a photo of Edwards, who works at Def Jam Records, along with his name and a heart emoji. This was more than enough for people to start putting in their two cents about the music and film icon’s personal life, as well as what they assumed his intentions with the pop star might be.
