There’s A Twitter Account That Let’s You Cop Fictional Characters’ Clothes (15 Tweets)

While Paris runways and fashion magazines may like to believe that they set the tone for popular fashion, most people either look to their friends for sartorial inspiration, or to the characters of their most beloved TV show or film.

And while people cosplaying as their favorite characters at conventions has been a thing for a while, those tend to be costumes that are either homemade or custom-made to look exactly like the attire in question. Such outfits generally aren’t very practical as they’re not “real” clothes in any functional sense.

Now, at last, a freshly minted Twitter account called Found A Good Outfit has begun assembling fictional outfits out of real-world clothing pieces.

Created by comedian Brady O’Callahan the account appears less interested in creating an exact copy of the outfit in question and more in compiling a list of real, purchasable items that match the overall style and vibe.

The account is impressively inventive, even swapping in clothing that matches the color and look of certain characters’ body if they don’t wear certain items of clothing like pants (I’m looking at you, you pervy cartoons.)

So if you want to lowkey dress like Squidward…now you can.
