The world as we know it has been frozen in place by the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic. Major cities around the world are officially “on pause,” workers are working from home or not at all, students are struggling to continue their educations online, and everyone is social distancing as best they can.
There’s only so much you can do on a Zoom call, or alone in a room by yourself, however, so people are doing the one thing they can: They’re making plans for the future.
Since anticipation is often more fun than actually getting what you want, and since it’s currently the only option, people are anticipating hard.
