I’m not sure why it happens, but sometimes my phone number wins the worst lottery and is blown up with scam calls nonstop for about two months.
Without a doubt, the sudden surge is because I was dumb enough to write down my number somewhere sketchy because I thought I could win a free car in the mall or something. I know I probably deserve them, but it doesn’t make it any less annoying.
Having a funny response ready for when you get a scam call is a level of preparedness I never thought of, but it’s really the best way to give you a laugh and annoy some of these really bad people.
