Doctor Exposes How Buying “Imperfect Foods” Isn’t Really Helping Anything

There’s a huge trend happening right now where someone can buy a box of imperfect foods for less than they would pay at the grocery store and they get to feel better about themselves for doing something good.

Well, as most things go nowadays, nothing good happens for very long before someone comes out and says it’s actually horrible and we should all be ashamed of ourselves.

Dr. Sara Taber shared on Twitter her experience working in production and revealed that buying flawed produce really didn’t make sense.

Surprise, surprise, it was just something to make people feel good about themselves. I guess we will all need to find a new thing to seem we’re saving the environment without actually doing anything to actually help.
