When it’s not stuck in its normal loop of political sh*tstorms and interpersonal attacks, Twitter can actually be a fun and silly place. People play word games, make up nonsense words, and riff off each others’ jokes. These peaceful interludes are brief so it’s important to cherish them.
Case in point: The always excitable Jimmy Fallon recently crowdsourced a bit by asking his fans on Twitter to ruin a movie with one word. It was a surprisingly fruitful writing prompt with people clearly as eager to ruin movies as to watch them.
It’s Hashtags time! Take a movie title and add one word to change the meaning, and tag it with #RuinAMovieWithOneWord. Could be on the show!
