Twitter Is Clowning Nick Cannon Over His Eminem Diss Track (24 Tweets)

All the way back in 2009, there began a long-standing saga between Nick Cannon and Eminem. Em started the whole thing, rapping, “Nick Cannon you prick I wish you luck with the f*ckin’ whore.” Why, you ask, is Eminem so mad?

What the hell is going on with Nick Cannon and Eminem?

Because apparently Cannon’s then-wife Mariah Carey apparently had a relationship with Eminem. And yes, that pairing is totally weird. Carey allegedly released “Why Are You So Obsessed with Me” about Eminem and then Eminem released, “The Warning,” in which he told Carey he was sad she “denied” him. These are the love letters of a new generation, people!

You’d think these two men, who are both grown adults, wouldn’t keep at it, but that’s just not the case. That’s because Cannon, who just released a track called “The Invitation,” dropped Eminem’s name in a not so nice way. 

Nick Cannon’s diss track starts with some serious words.

The song starts with Suge Knight rapping, “Check this out, uh, Eminem, whatever your name is, right. You know, I don’t never do no talkin’, but Nick is family….Eminem’s a b*tch.” The song invites Eminem to come onto Wild ‘N Out, a rap battle improv show. 

Then Eminem tweeted to Cannon…

…to which Cannon replied…

50 Cent came to Eminem’s defense.
