Guy Known As “Chicken Man” Invites City To Watch Him Eat Rotisserie Chicken For 40th Consecutive Day

Philadelphia is known for the Liberty Bell, Rocky, and cheesesteaks, and now, we can add the “Chicken Man” to that list.

Meet Alexander Tominsky, aka “The Chicken Man,” became a viral sensation after inviting anyone and everyone to show up at an abandoned pier in South Philadelphia to watch him eat a rotisserie chicken for the 40th day in a row.

The story viral after a photo of the poster promoting the event went viral on Twitter.

Tominsky said he has eaten an entire rotisserie chicken every day for the last 39 days. He’s even documented part of his journey via his Twitter page.

The flyer promotes the event as “Not A Party,” but a raucous crowd did show up to the abandoned pier by the Walmart.

Some doubted the event was even real, wondering if anyone would show up.

However, pictures and videos circulating online appear to show a nice-sized crowd cheering on Tominsky.

Who says Philly doesn’t support its heroes?
