Employees Are Sharing The Slightly Unethical “Hacks” They Pulled To Get Out Of Doing More Work

Ah, work. The necessary evil to survive in the world.

I’m all for figuring out ways to get paid without working super hard, and a thread by Twitter user @rohshah07 reveals some genius “scams” for getting out of work.

Most of them are pretty innocent, and sort of expose how bosses aren’t always thorough either. One time in high school I turned in a paper that was 2 pages too short. So I increased the font size of each period in Microsoft Word and it added 5 pages. Honestly, I thought I should get extra credit for figuring that one out.

I’ve heard the term “work smarter, not harder” before but these people took it to a whole new level.
