Being terminated from a job can be difficult, particularly if the reason for the termination is unjustified.
TikTok user Alexis Stuart says that she lost her job at a restaurant due to a false accusation made by a customer. According to her, she had been employed at the restaurant for five years which made the situation particularly frustrating for her.
In the video, Alexis Stuart is seen dancing in a home while holding a bottle of white wine.
The text overlay on the video says:
“pov: you lost your job of 5 years because a table you didn’t even have nor speak to complained to your manager about something you told your table that never even came out of your mouth.”
@alexisstuart67 i don’t think i’ll ever get over this one but new year new beginnings am i right ✨ #serverlife
In 2013, a server in New York City was held responsible for a $735 bill left by customers who dined and left without paying at Pig ‘n’ Whistle pub at Rockefeller Center, as reported by Gothamist.
USA Today also reported on an Arkansas server who was given a $4,400 tip, but was informed by management that she would only receive 20% of it and the rest would be distributed among the restaurant staff, which was not standard practice for her previous gratuities.
