Server Claims Restaurant Terminated Her After False Complaint From Customer

TikTok user Alexis Stuart says that she lost her job at a restaurant due to a false accusation made by a customer. According to her, she had been employed at the restaurant for five years which made the situation particularly frustrating for her.

In 2013, a server in New York City was held responsible for a $735 bill left by customers who dined and left without paying at Pig ‘n’ Whistle pub at Rockefeller Center, as reported by Gothamist.

USA Today also reported on an Arkansas server who was given a $4,400 tip, but was informed by management that she would only receive 20% of it and the rest would be distributed among the restaurant staff, which was not standard practice for her previous gratuities.
