Bride-To-Be Gets Dragged By Her Own Sister For Insane List Of Bridal Party Demands

Bride-zillas are very real. You probably know one yourself. Sure, your best friend may never have seemed like they would be the type of girl to scream at a florist, but we’ve all seen it happen. Things can go from zero to sixty real quick.

Recently, a Reddit user JUSTNOFAMILY shared text messages she received from her sister. She wrote:

“My sister is getting engaged and is having her potential bridal party battle it out so she has one less thing to worry about before the engagement.”

She then proceeded to share the screenshots of the text messages her sister sent to her friends. Essentially, she had a long list of demands for her friends who made it into the “final round of the Bridal Party Brawl.”

To secure their spot in the bridal party, her friends had to promise to do a lot. First, they have to host a party forthe soon-to-be husband and wife. They also have to provide a gift for the bride and groom that exceeds $500. On top of the wedding gift, they also need to provide a “day of” gift for the bride and groom that costs more than $100. They have to be available to attend every “wedding event” that they are invited to, too. And, to top it all off, they have to sign a contract that legally binds them to the conditions in place.

People on Reddit were blown away that anyone would ask this much from their friends and family.

Whatthe actual fuck? This is crazy. Lol. Don’t reply and be happy you don’t have to deal with the stress

Why would ANYONE want to be involved in this gift-grab of a wedding?

Really? Someone honestly wrote that down and announced this publicly without their eyes falling out of their head from utter shame? Did anyone shut her down?

I would compete NOT to be included in that wedding, that requirements thing is absolutely ridiculous. I mean seriously. Demanding gifts that are at least 500? No freaking way. I could go for a nice vacation with that money.

Honestly, this is way too much to ask of anyone—even your bridal party. If someone sent me this text message, I would say “Thank U, Next.” What do you think, would you be okay with your sister (or friend) pulling this?
